Propuh is a survival game inspired by Slavic superstition in which you have to carefully place the Grandma and play your cards to complete all your tasks before you get tired or the notorious Propuh enters your house!
Propuh is played in turns, during which both Granny and Propuh perform actions.
During your turn, you can perform the following:
Granny:
- Move,
- Act by playing cards (cook, prevent the door or window from opening, take a break or tidy up),
- Cunter a "Propuh" action,
- Close the door or the window.
Propuh:
- Act by playing a card (open door or window),
- Make a mess by playing a card (blow ashes through the stove),
Counter a "Granny" action.
The Granny (our protagonist) wins by completing a list of tasks.
The Propuh (our antagonist) wins by either having the door and window open at the same time, or by getting Granny tired (no more cards to draw).
The wooden edition of Propuh consists of the following components:
1. The game board is the wooden box that the game comes in - designed as Granny's house,
2. 3 progress tracking boards made out of wood for keeping an eye on your objective, and your opponents,
3. 6 wooden progress tokens,
4. Single-player schema for Propuh actions on the back of the box cover,
5. The "Granny" wooden standee,
6. 30 playing cards.
All wooden components are manufactured and engraved in our workshop. This makes each game unique and immerses you in the atmosphere that we wanted to create with Propuh!
