Empire’s explorers have just discovered a new planet inhabited by an unknown species: highly technologically advanced Aliens, exclusively feeding on minerals. Seize the opportunity to welcome these peaceful people in your Crew, and to benefit from their powerful skills. This will ask you to collect Quartz, those precious stones that they are fond of.
Encounters brings a new resource to Wild Space : Quartz. New Crew cards earn you some when played in front of you. And at the end of your turn, you have got the new additional option to spend Quartz, for recruiting an Alien and add it to your Crew. Aliens count as regular Crew cards but they come with powerful abilities, enhancing your combos.
