War of the Buttons
In War of the Buttons, 2-4 players lead a "gang" of kids who try to build their own hut. To do this, they use both their own dice and "neutral" dice, while hoping for help from their "big brother" and for no one to tattle on them at school. War of the Buttons uses themes of the 1912 novel La Guerre des Boutons by Louis Pergaud.

The King's Will
In AD 962 Otto the Great becomes Holy Roman Emperor. In this age of the itinerant kingship he doesn't rule from a capitaly but travels from palace to palace. In "The King's Will" the players assume the role of the dukes whose palaces the King is visiting. They try to find out what the King's current will is and climb in his favor while they steadily enlarge tehir duchies.

Calimala
Players of Calimala are cloth merchants in medieval Florence, with a number of trusted employees that they assign to various streets within the city to carry out actions. (Each street connects two places where particular actions can be taken.) While taking these actions, players produce and deliver cloth and contribute to the construction and decoration of various buildings across the city. Employees stay on their assigned places for a while, carrying out their actions whenever the street is activated, and eventually are promoted into the city council, triggering a scoring phase.
